    Everytime I need to use texture falloff on a texture, I have to
spend quite a bit of time experimenting with random values, until one of
them loof some what simmilar to what I want, than I try to adjust the
value to match my expectations...
    Is there an EASY way to somehow CALCULATE what the fallout would
be on an object ( a plane for example) of a size of X by Y , where for
example the texture dissapears totaly...

    I wouldn't mind spending a little more time getting the a very
close approximation, than having to poke around in the dark...

    Are there some rules of thumb I should also keep in mind??
